Christian Home Educators NH/S.ME provides support, inspiration, and information to Christian homeschool families in the Seacoast area of NH and Maine.
socialization and outside activities
Homeschooled children have many opportunities for socialization and participation in outside activities in New Hampshire. Families get together at New Hampshire's parks and beaches and go for hikes in the outdoors. There are field trips to farms and museums. There are groups where homeschoolers get together and where families from all educational backgrounds get together. Many home educated students participate in gym classes, swim classes, FIRST robotics teams, music classes and recitals, bowling teams, basketball teams, soccer leagues, martial arts, dance classes and dances, theater productions, youth events, homeschool co-ops and more. Museums today frequently design classes specifically for the needs of homeschool families. Homeschooled children socialize with other children and have opportunities to socialize with people of all ages!
