In addition to special needs friendly homeschool curriculum such as the examples listed above, parents of children with special needs often obtain special services, either privately or publically, in order to help their children reach their learning goals. These might include such services as speech therapy, occupational therapy, vision therapy or tutoring from people trained in the Orton Gillingham or Lindamood-Bell instruction methods.
